CU Athletics is heartbroken to learn of the passing of Adam Munsterteiger.
Adam was a light in our Buffs community who covered CU sports and shared student-athlete stories for more than two decades. Our deepest condolences go to his wife, Liz, and their family.

... His kindness, his professionalism. He was truly an amazing person. One thing I will remember the most is that he cared about training the next generation, and his "tree" is extremely impressive. Those in that tree, and all who knew him, will continue his legacy. RIP.

He could’ve gatekept. Instead, he held the door open. Proud of my husband for his years covering the Buffs—and for embracing the influx of new media in the Prime Era with generosity, not ego.
