Teachers notice the quiet hand, invite the brave question, and spark the moment a student starts to believe, “I can do this!”
Thank you for lighting the way, one lesson and one relationship at a time. We see you. We appreciate you. We’re better because of you! #WorldTeachersDay

A Rare Sight
It’s not every day that you see an albino squirrel. They are very rare.
How rare?
• Only about 1 in 100,000 squirrels is born albino.
• True albino squirrels have:
• Pure white fur
• Pink or red eyes, caused by a lack of pigment.

It’s not compliance, nor conformity to ‘the what’ rather it is fostering curiosity and excitement about ‘the why’ that drives excellence in student learning.
Professor Hattie encourages us to be evaluative thinkers in pursuing “our why.”

We are looking forward to sharing our research and practical knowledge to help new teachers, teacher mentors, and aspiring school leaders, achieve greater success!
Sometimes leadership means being willing to take risks. Often we can inspire others with our actions more than our words. The people you’re leading look to you to set the example. #edchat
It is during those times when we need a quiet moment that we can pause, stop to appreciate nature, and simply “be.” (Pun intended).
These are a few moments I enjoyed today in New Maryland, New Brunswick. #peaceful#NewBrunswick#NatureTherapy#Flowers
A good leader has the ability to connect to the people they are leading. This includes good teachers as they learn to connect with students and build the relationships that will empower them to be successful in the classroom and out of it. #edchat
