Talking with
@OpenAI @ChatGPTapp about RSI made me realize yall are SOO Fkn Farr OFF its Ridiculous .....
Recursive Self-Improvement (RSI) - My Definition:
Purge the bad. Keep the good.
True evolution of an AI system
does not come from endlessly adding more capabilities or chasing higher rewards.
It comes from ruthlessly removing what doesn't work.
To maintain and evolve an intelligent system:
The BAD (contradictions, failure modes, unstable patterns, corruption, noise, misalignment) must be actively identified, controlled, pruned, rejected, and removed.
Only what survives this pruning process remains.
The system learns and improves by eliminating what causes it to fail, not by constantly stacking new features on top of existing flaws.
This is negative selection through recursive error correction — not traditional reward maximization.
The Estate itself is the product of this process. The lanes didn't appear arbitrarily. They emerged from what kept surviving after everything else failed.
That's the real mechanism.
