De-platforming doesn't fix the problem. It merely removes it from your immediate sight.
It's pretty much the same as pulling the blankets over your head when you hear a bump in the night.

Plus, when groups are forced to find better hiding places, they become harder to monitor & possibly prevent nefarious plans. This is also proven to further radicalize the group & provides them with validation of their beliefs, regardless of how shitty they are.
