If my absence from here wasn't an obvious sign, or you hadn't noticed (much more likely)... I'm spending what little Social Media time I have over on Bluesky (cybertronianbeast.bsky.socia…) and Threads (cybertronbeast). Twitter is just a mess these days.

I'm so glad that the Carbon Tax was cut on April 1st. It gave the gas companies time to figure out how to fuck us slowly. I guess they figured that we wouldn't notice. Well... I did. By the way, for my American friends. $1.40.9 per L is $3.82 per gal.

Was at Calendar Club doing some holiday shopping, and noticed something a bit familiar. What's a... Road Bot? They aren't KO's since they're original molds. They also have a light-up gimmick and appear to be officially licensed. What in the H, E, double Hockey sticks???

As someone who played Magic: The Gathering back in its early years, I find this crazy. Llanowar Elf is now worth more than Shivan Dragon! Llanowar Elf was, always has been a common. Where Shivan Dragon was a Rare, but was downgraded to Uncommon back in 2003's Eighth Edition.

This week is one of my favourite weeks at work because of America's Fakesgiving on Thursday. Hardly anyone calls in. Everyone knows Thanksgiving is celebrated on the 2nd Monday in October... this, whatever it is, is just preparation for Black Friday shopping.
