Hmmm @CycleRandR @CyclingSurrey there seems to be some actual enforcement of yellow lines going on. Not taken in the more troublesome areas so it might just be the easy ones they're going after but its a start. If only the govt had done something on pavement parking...
Surrey county councillors spending your taxes. You all like filthy air don’t you?
It is odd that nobody can reply to these tweets. Almost as though they don’t want a stream of photos of asthma inhalers to follow them everywhere 🦖🚗💨
At the High Court today for Surrey County Council’s challenge of The Mayor of London and TfL’s decision to expand the ULEZ to Greater London. Surrey says NO!
🔵REIGATE: I understand that rejection notes have just been sent out to unsuccessful candidates, so I'd love to learn details of who's made the Conservative selection long-list. Please DM me.
Dutch design manuals specifically warn against bordenwouden (“sign forests”); the overuse of traffic signage resulting in visual clutter.
Rather they emphasize a far more effective way to achieve the desired behavior: engineering of self-explaining and -enforcing infrastructure.

Recently, @SurreyCouncil have ripped out a cycle lane after 48 hours, lost millions in active travel funding because of their chaotic mismanagement and are now opposing ULEZ expansion
And this is what you get. Their policies are literally killing you and costing the NHS millions
