Cygnet & BBL would like to invite friends and family down to the club for this year’s boat race on Saturday, the 30th of March. We have a great spot for viewing the races as they zip down the river (with the first race starting at 2.46pm) and our bar will be open from midday.

We'll be selling a mix of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks both in the bar and on the hard this year from 12pm onwards. This is a joint Cygnet/BBL endeavour and we’d really appreciate if all could get involved to help raise essential funds to keep our clubs running.

We can only assume you’d have to do this at High Tide to avoid any stream advantage. VIII face opposite directions on the UL straight. Each cox holds one end of the rope, last cox standing/rowed past the red buoy wins? That’s one way to add a bit more drama at turn of the tide.

This regatta season Don’t forget to support the trailer driver. Loading Accompanying on drive Food Drink Etc Regatta days are hard for athletes but they’re extremely long for others. It takes a village!

In a turn of events BOTH engines recovered! Eagle-eyed @FurnivallSC club member found them in a nearby hedge. Please still be vigilant, double check your locks, scramble your padlock codes etc. We think we’ve been canvassed over the weekend looking for a target.

**Engine theft** Headsup Tideway clubs! We’ve had both out Mariner 9.9hp outboards stolen overnight from our premises. Silver units, fairly new. Please keep an eye out if any appear second hand suddenly. @BritishRowing @TheCumbercat @akrowing @BBLRC @PutneyTownRC
