This is basically an illustration of the technique Kepler used to *reverse engineer* the true orbit of Mars using only Tycho Brahe's observational data.
He did it all on paper, no telescope, no calculus, just really gnarly trigonometry.

This was brought up on a discord server this morning and absolutely matches my experience using D&D Beyond for the last Twilight years. It’s why I’m not renewing my subscription. #dnd
ALT Discord post: Aside from the obvious Wizards related nonsense, I was already having an issue with DnD beyond in my in-person home game. Now that the honey-moon period of *"character creation is super easy and combat tracking is easier"* is over for us, I'm hitting the issue of my players not really knowing what their characters can do. They didn't build them by reading the class descriptions, they just picked drop down menu options, so the speed of the digital tools is very much undercut by me frequently having to remind them of core class features and lots of reading things during combat that they've had since level 1.

OGL "2.0's" FAQ was leaked to a handful of creators yesterday. In it, they lie about 1.1 being a draft, and hide doubling down on bad choices with a couple partial concessions.
1.0a is the ONLY way forward. It doesn't matter what they give up in any of these "drafts".
