I recruited Bobby in 1991: I found him on the Prodigy online service in an area dedicated to musicians. I introduced him to Id Software who used him for music in the second Commander Keen trilogy, and I also had him work on a musical jingle for the Apogee logo.
Bobby then did the music for Wolfenstein 3D, Doom and he did many of the tracks for Duke Nukem 3D. His place in video game history is locked in.
He's been going through some health issues recently, so I wanted to give him a shout out to get well soon!
Prayers for the legend Bobby Prince. I just heard he’s in the hospital.
You may not know his name, but if you ever played an Apogee or id game, chances are you’ve heard his music or his sound effects.
