FSD has been life-changing — 13,000 miles of stress-free driving in my 2026 Model Y. But there’s one simple design regression that’s been causing months of daily frustration: Manual speed control was removed from FSD months ago. Before the change, I could quickly and precisely set exactly the speed I wanted using the steering wheel scroll wheel or controls. It was intuitive and instant. Now we’re stuck with only the preset sliders (Sloth → Mad Max). They’re simply not good enough for real-world driving. I frequently need a specific speed that doesn’t match any preset, and the car no longer lets me set it directly while in FSD. I’ve reported this hundreds of times through: • In-car voice & bug reports • X posts • Tesla employees in High Point, NC …with zero response. I love that Tesla is pushing full AI autonomy, but owners still need the ability to set our own speed when we choose to. I don’t want Grok, xAI, or any other system overriding my direct control of my car in FSD. Please restore manual speed control in FSD. It was there, it worked perfectly, and its removal has made an otherwise brilliant system unnecessarily frustrating. @Tesla @elonmusk #FSD #Tesla #FullSelfDriving

Driving video proof — I’m 83 and can no longer safely drive myself anymore. FSD has given me back 13,000 miles of freedom… but watch: I need to set my own exact speed right now (like 68 mph) and I still can’t. Only the useless Sloth-to-Mad-Max sliders. This simple manual speed control was removed months ago and it’s still broken. Please restore it Tesla — this is dangerous for seniors who depend on FSD every day. @Tesla @elonmusk @Tesla_AI @WholeMarsBlog @SawyerMerritt @JacobTesla #FSD #Tesla

Day 1 video — 83 years old, cannot safely drive myself anymore. I need to set EXACT speeds in FSD (like 68 mph) but the sliders only let me choose Sloth or Mad Max. This has been broken for months. Please restore manual speed control. @Tesla @elonmusk @Tesla_AI #FSD #Tesla

TESLA WIPERS JEREMY STERN SAWYER MERRITT my2026 Y LAUNCH EDITION 10K miles FSD life changing EXCELLENT… AI WIPER CONTROL HORRIBLE…hope TESLA fixes manual wiper control would have solved it. I intentionally pumped my wiper fluid dry to reduce year long annoying “worthless wipes”

TESLA, Musk, Elluswamy, von Holzhausen, Moravy, Zhu FSD is excellent..BUT..please.. FIX speed control in my 2026 model Y.. Quick, precise, manual speed control in FSD by the owner is NECESSARY…today & forever.. HENRY FORD realized this.. ..not rocket science or brain surgery…

FSD is excellent…BUT… FSD 14.2 or FSD 99.ultimate…. TESLA must restore the car owners ability to quickly precisely manually control the speed when in FSD… this will ALWAYS be needed… HENRY FORD figured this out..

The EU should be abolished and sovereignty returned to individual countries, so that governments can better represent their people

Please @aelluswamy @elonmusk bring back manual speed controls until you use good map data and/or it can read and understand signs much better. Right now, if the car thinks the speed limit is 55 but it's actually 35, even Sloth wants to go 55. Inversely, if the car thinks the speed limit is 35 but it's actually 55, even Mad Max won't go fast enough. We have no way of adjusting, so in these two scenarios we have to turn off FSD for no good reason. We want to help you improve the system, so let us help. Give us a way to report incorrect speed limits. If we manually adjust the speed, send that to the mothership and if it happens in the same spot over and over, it should learn.

TESLA designers: Stop ignoring owners. FSD 14 has a major incomprehensible FLAW. The owner of the vehicle REQUIRES precise prompt control of the cars speed with FSD engaged! FIX IT!

yes.. WHO WANTS A CAR THAT WHEN SITTING BEHIND THE WHEEL YOU CANNOT CONTROL THE SPEED.. The person in the driver’s seat must have easy prompt control up or down of the car’s speed even in FSD… that is an extremely basic requirement. TESLA FSD 14 needs to be fixed.

note to TESLA CHIEF ENGINEER ELON MUSK: total AI MAD MAX speed control is ok in a point A to point B driverless CYBER CAB but not in this old man’s 2026 Y LAUNCH EDITION. FSD 14 loss of speed control is a terrible mistake. PLEASE RESTORE MY SPEED CONTROL TO MY CAR analog cruise control from 40 years ago was better..

Dear TESLA FSD 14 engineers, designers, coders, programmers, managers: When are you going to fix my car?.. UNBELIEVABLY you removed my ability to control the speed of my own car.. I bought it just for FSD.. I need FSD as I am no longer able to drive by myself… With FSD 14 and the car is following to close or going to fast , the only way you have given me to control it is to take it out of SELF DRIVE…..TERRIBLE!

My 2026 TESLA Y has driven me 7,000 miles over 7 months and has been life changing and allowed me to go where I could not go driving myself.. But, FSD 14 software has one terrible feature that must be corrected… They took away the ability of the owner to quickly precisely increase or decrease the vehicle speed while keeping it in SELF DRIVE. …CORRECT THIS QUICKLY TESLA….BAD, BAD, BAD..
