Today, I finally joined @TheGreenParty After months of governance, it is clear that @UKLabour are just entirely unfit for office. The social conservatism paired with total economic inadequacy is so far from the core values of the Labour Party and politics on the left. Watching a supposed left-wing party relentlessly try (and fail) to pander to those on the right, whilst abandoning everything they used to stand for has grown tiring. I stand for LGBTQ rights, rights for migrants and asylum seekers, climate justice, and liberty and freedom above all. I think the most damaging aspect of current disability benefits press releases is that they are coming out before the specific proposals from the Labour government, so disabled people don't know the details of how it is going to affect them; they are just being attacked in the media.
