So a bunch of disabled people have had their videos taken down about @JohnFetterman, defending his use of captions and addressing ableism, on Tiktok? For misinformation?!

Can't agree more. There is no reason to begin a call any other way in these settings. From the moment the number pops up on my phone, I am no longer breathing and will exhale only when I hear "there's no emergency..."
Periodic reminder that if you work somewhere where you have custody of children (school, hospital, day care, camp, etc) and you need to make a non-urgent call to a parent/caretaker, please say "there's no emergency" as soon as they answer before engaging in a small talk. ✌🏽

provide ample space for the alt text. Policy 4305 is referenced in this message. This is the Authorized Closings Leave and Compensation Policy (link: policies.vt.edu/4305.pdf): to sum it up, anyone who is working remotely does not get time off due to the parking issue.

Does this mean that working remotely has, GASP, potential benefits to an employer? Like we have been saying this whole time? That online classes are still options, even when football comes to town? That they could be options when we are sick, or encounter access barriers?
