Harris, a former Miami and NFL defensive end/linebacker as a player, helped Gabe Jacas earn All-Big Ten recognition each of the last two seasons at Illinois.

In 2023, Michigan fired assistant Chris Partridge in-season for allegedly telling a player to lie to the NCAA.
He was ultimately vindicated in the final report, but he never got a national title ring.
On Sunday, he will coach in the Super Bowl.
