Fusions 1995 - Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru / Tadayoshi Yamamuro
Both fusion designs appeared in almost identical time periods: Nakatsuruโs Vegito was seen in the Dragon Ball Z TV series, while Yamamuroโs Gogeta was drawn the same year but for a movie. This allowed us to appreciate the design quality of two of the greatest artists in Dragon Ball history in 1995.

By the end of Dragon Ball Z, the series was already incorporating artistic elements that would later be seen as problematic in terms of the showโs aesthetics. The amount of detail in the designs increased significantly, sometimes giving the characters a very cluttered appearance. They gradually lost naturality and became increasingly rigid.
In just 4 years, we were able to see how this artistic transition began and took hold.
