Things are changing so fast it is hard to keep up with the new treatments. Second opinions help. Also join IASLC and go to World Lung Conf.

It would be really interesting to do liquid biopsies in combination with LDCT screening, and people (including us) are starting to do it

Definitely - there are many slightly different ones, as well as several completely different classes of drugs and combos with standard ones
There are many types - and many targets within each type. It is very complicated

We don't currently have a test that is perfect for finding out who benefits, but PDL1 staining is a step in that direction

Cancers suppress the immune system to avoid being killed by it. Immunotherapies today "unmask" the tumor and allow it to do its job

I view it as finding the optimal treatment for each patient based on the molecular features of that patient and their tumor
