Xbox One Call of Duty Ghosts secured 💪
A throwback. This photo came up on my memories this morning which resulted in me doing a little reflecting.
I had only been married a couple of years. I was in a completely different career field, working night shift.
In my free time I had been playing in men’s softball leagues, and traveling the southeast in playing in softball tournaments on the weekend, and that had cut into my gaming time significantly.
When Call of Duty Ghosts came out, I wasn’t sure if I was going to pick it up at first, but I did end up getting it for Xbox 360 on launch day. I played it for awhile, and was hooked. So at the beginning of 2014, I purchased the Xbox One and the Xbox One version of Call of Duty Ghosts.
The next month after that I began streaming on Twitch, which I ended up doing for 7 years before making the shift into my current career, working on the Call of Duty Social team.
It’s all a long way to say that I’m really glad I stuck with gaming when I did, because to this day, I still love it. I’m thankful to do what I love each and every day for work - even on the tough days. My favorite thing about gaming and gaming community that fascinates me is how it brings people together who may not have crossed paths in life. So thankful for those I have met along this journey, and thankful for the awesome people that I get to work with each any every day.
Gaming is love.
