Lt. Deb Porter with the Douglas County Underwater Search and Recovery Team on Tuesday morning gave a water safety and life jacket-fitting presentation to campers with the LiveWell Douglas County and Safe Kids Douglas County day camp, which is this week at the fairgrounds.
The tornado warning expired at 12:30 a.m., and a severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect until 12:45 a.m. as the storms move through the area to the east.
