Today we packed up our suitcases and prepared to set off. We had a stop off at Bellewaerde theme park. Pupils had a great time. We are now enroute to the Ferry. @DunfermlineHS
At Thiepval we took time to lay a wreath on behalf of the former pupils remembered at that site. We had a lovely poetry reading. We have been incredibly lucky with the level of pupil engagement on the trip! @DunfermlineHS
After the Menin Gate ceremony we had the privilege of unveiling a plaque on behalf of the school at St George’s Memorial church in Ypres. This plaque now provides a specific place of remembrance for our school in Belgium. @DunfermlineHS
Last night we had the privilege of three pupils taking part in the last post ceremony at the Menin gate. All pupils involved did the school proud. @DunfermlineHS
A very full day today. We went to Flanders Field museum, Tynecot, Langemark and Essex farm. We have the menin gate ceremony after dinner @DunfermlineHS
Pupils had a lovely afternoon in Bruges exploring the beautiful town and getting some lunch. We are now enroute to our accommodation in Ypres. @DunfermlineHS

Great news for our Donald Dewar team of Emily and Mackenzie who are now through to the semifinal! It was a very high standard from all teams. Thank you to Royal High for hosting. @DunfermlineHS
