There should be an app that, when your staff with cc's spend under $30 at a gas station, you and that cardholder get a text. It'll be called "Cigs and a Monster"

Clients and friends: monarch.com personal finance app is legit! I was a Personal Capital guy until Empower destroyed it. Just finally made the switch and - as a guy who owns a bookkeeping company - really like it. No link or anything just spreading the good word

If I change the phone number on our GMB Page to call, would anything bad happen? Have seen too many "Changed my XYZ and now I have not business page" stories on here that got me spooked.

If an invoice has already been accepted, but the scope changes, DO NOT change the first invoice Create additional invoices for increase in scope, create credit memo for decreases in scope. Helps paper trail with the client how much they owe you.

Do what Logan does!
If you're not doing job costing on every property you clean, your margins might not be as good as you think We track every dollar that comes in and every dollar that goes out on each of the Airbnbs we clean. As soon as an Airbnb falls below our target profit %, it's time for a price increase You'll also see which properties are bringing in the bulk of your profit. Focus on relationships with those customers

Completely off topic ramble: I firmly believe there should be small footprint high volume burrito shops in high foot traffic locations. Like just burritos. Near schools, corporate offices, public transportation, anywhere with a lot of foot traffic. Other details: - Pre-made, morning of - 3-4 options - Pre-packaged salsa / sauces (cost per use for client) - Emphasis on speed! In, order, out, asap - nowhere to sit. Burritos are for moving, not for sitting - Burritos are sized and priced where you can eat the whole thing and keep moving. So like 1/2 a chipotle burrito - Priced at 5-6$ - Black Drip Coffee Coke products - Can only get there on foot. No/limited parking and no drive through Could be done out of a cart. Burrito Rapido. Anyway everyone have a good Friday!

Just rolled out a process with a new client where their plumbing technicians no longer need to log any receipts in to any system when they use their credit cards. First time anyone has ever said thank you to us for a new bookkeeping process!

Any fractional CFO's open to commenting on how many clients can be handled at once? Let's say it is the person: paying bills, forecasting, managing cash flow, confirming payroll, budget analysis, and overseeing the bookkeeping process. If that is all this person does, how many clients (1-5m home services companies) might they be able to comfortably handle

Sales calls are shorter and easier if your offering matches exactly what clients need. Always fun to see this. The best relationships start with a crisp first call where everyone just nods at each other like "Yup, that would be good. Lets do that."

We have a small company, with a lot of software and opportunities for automation and process improvement and what not. How have others handled the "Ownership" portion of implementing cross departmental automations and such? Like, if Sales clicks the wrong button and that messes up an automation that sends data to the onboarding team because a zap didn't fire, who gets notified and has to fix it? Looking for some perspective!
