I shouldn't get drawn into the fire, but it annoys me that in wrestling as in life, people see not hitting the aesthetic standard as a lack of effort. @AdamColePro is the kind of guy who wanted to get back into the ring, giving a performance to be proud of as soon as he could.

Every day will have been spent getting his ankle functional and back into wrestling. He could have taken a few more weeks and focused on aesthetics, but he's the kind of person that wouldn't have wanted to take a day longer away than he absolutely had to. That's effort.

That's caring about what you do. Caring about the fans. Caring about the company. I learnt from him how important it is to know who's opinions are important to you and ignore the rest, so I know he doesn't need to hear this, but some people clearly do. #AEWDynamite #BayBay

Somehow, I have gamed the system enough that I managed to pay myself, a moderately chronically ill person, to spend the afternoon pro wrestling. I have peaked. Now I will sleep for 2 days and there's nothing capitalism can do about it!
