At least 274 civilians were killed and 1,763 were injured as a result of Russia’s aggression. I want people to understand just how difficult the situation has become. Right now, I am in the Dnipropetrovsk region. When I was here in September last year, the situation felt very different. At the time, daily attacks were mostly associated with Nikopol and the city of Dnipro. Today, the reality has changed dramatically. The closer you get to the front line, the longer and more frequent the air raid alerts become. In some areas, the sirens can last for hours, and sometimes for most of the day. Attacks have become a constant part of everyday life. People are regularly killed or injured. Roads are being covered with protective nets because of the growing threat posed by drones. Communities that once felt relatively safe are now adapting to a very different reality. For many Ukrainians, this is not something they read about in the news. It is simply daily life. The war has not become smaller. In many places, it has moved closer. #ukraine #dnipro #war
