👇 Boston, last night. We probably need to explain to our very welcoming American hosts that this is actually a sign of affection.💙 🇺🇸💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤜🤛

Scottish fans had to go see the historic sites in Boston, so they made sure to stop by the viral slide…..with bagpipes of course

I've noticed a few cases where LLMs will erroneously tell me that a rocket engine is using a 'Full flow staged combustion cycle' - probably because this is the one cycle that gets mentioned a lot, while gas generator cycles are the default and are just 'rocket engines'

My video from the Hawthorne office of the final Falcon 1 launch (first ever success with deployment). This is one of those startup moments you never forget, and why you get into tech in the first place. 7/13/09.

All the news is about @elonmusk becoming unfathomably wealthy from the @spacex IPO, but there are many more stories of amazing people who worked hard to build SpaceX in the early days who are looking at life changing amounts of wealth today. I expect a lot of them will keep working.

"The fascination that I have for test flying comes from being able to go into an environment where we have an idea what's going to happen, but then you have to [make it] happen." Meet the Artemis III crew in this episode of Houston We Have a Podcast: nasa.gov/podcasts/houston-we…

This is exactly the kind of video I wanted to see from Artemis II - you can build a robotic spacecraft to get better imagery, but human reactions make it so much easier to connect across the vast distances involved.
During their lunar flyby, the Artemis II crew enjoyed the rare opportunity to experience a solar eclipse from their Orion spacecraft. With the Sun hidden behind the Moon, the astronauts were able to analyze the Sun’s outermost atmosphere, also known as the solar corona.

Space-Track reports that the upper stage of the Zhuque-2E disintegrated at 0847 UTC Jun 9, a time that likely corresponds to the disposal burn following payload deployment. The stage and debris have not yet been cataloged

What’s worse, striking a pole on the ground or in the air?
That's some damage! A Turkish Airlines Boeing 777-3Q8(ER) aircraft, with registration number TC-LKD, struck a lighting pole while taxiing at the Antalya (AYT) airport of Turkiye. The aircraft was operating flight TK2430 from Istanbul (IST) on 11 June 2026. 📸 Courtesy: herdem_aviation @muratherdemm #aircraft

Pit stop on the way to the Moon. FLIP headed to Element U.S. Space & Defense this week for final preflight testing. First up: Mass Properties testing. This provides final details about characteristics like the rover’s center of gravity and moments of inertia. Next on the docket: vibration testing and the rover’s last thermal and vacuum chamber (TVAC) test. The Moon is harsh and unrelenting. But these tests ensure FLIP is ready.

Last night while driving into San Francisco to see the amazing show by @bellesglasgow I saw a billboard that wasn't for AI. My brain was confused by this unfamiliar sight and tried to figure out if this was some kind of mistake??? clearly the AI bubble is about to burst.
