Our oldest (the tallest 5 yo I’ve ever seen) had her first basketball game. She said she wanted to dunk and be as good as Michael Jordan, and was also very concerned about having to remove her earrings. Delusional ambition paired with vanity, truly my baby! @dlive87

Hospitalized because of an incurable blood disease. Dilla’s mom and friends brought him a sampler, a crate of records, and a computer to his hospital room. During his time at the hospital he completed all but 2 songs for donuts, and sadly 3 days after the release he passed. An album that pushed the genre is still inspiring many producers til this day
RIP J Dilla truly once in a lifetime artist.

Happy 70th Birthday! RUBY Bridges is famous for doing something most of us take for granted today: going to elementary school. But that simple act by one small girl played an important part in the Civil Rights Movement. ❤️💚🖤
