This summer I'm moving on from Apple Watch and buying a €500 "starter" watch and a Fitbit Air. I've got a decent shopping list of "proper" watches for future Dan, but starting my collection now, probably with one of these. What was the first watch in your collection?

I've been talking with Claude a lot about past products, jobs, potential new ideas, current products with no traction etc. It summed me up in one line 😅 "You're not a grinder. You're a spark-chaser." If it doesn't kick off immediately (ilo, Subsail) I get bored and move on

If you or your team has launched an MCP server recently, what tool, framework or service did you use?

Recently opened up a couple of magazine web projects from 2012 and 2016. Both Django apps, both totally untouched by AI. Kind of surreal thinking about how I wrote every single line of those products character by character

Bold move to rename your (well-known) company to reposition it in modern times. Makes total sense

I was walking my dog while “coding” a fragile and important feature in Subsail’s renewal flow

Anyone working on side projects this weekend? I’m busy planning updates to Subsail based on some customer feedback I gathered recently. You?

I would imagine people who can clearly explain ideas and communicate well like Farza don't know how useful and important that skill is. Just talking is hard. Let alone streaming live for almost an hour while being incredibly clear with what you're saying.
We wanted to show you some stuff we've been hacking on: x.com/i/broadcasts/1pJdRbojD…

I've been thinking about Subsail's positioning. <h1>s are always hard. You only get a few words. Left is what the site's said for maybe 8 years. Right is my new idea. Which is better in your eyes?

Recently I’ve been working again on what was my first “real” SaaS, Subsail. It’s a magazine subscription platform I launched in 2016. It’s been years since I’ve needed to develop it because it just does the thing it is supposed to. Going to try to start a growth period now

Playing with an early version of @loops Content API. It's incredibly cool. I can tell Claude to create an email. Then tell it to make tweaks, while watching the updates happen live in the Loops editor. Magical

Every day I see some incorrect English and it drives me crazy for a few minutes, like I want a red internet pen I can correct with. Could probably offer this as a service. Or here's an idea. Run your website copy through an LLM! Takes probably 10 seconds to correct it

Something happened on X in early March. I can't be the only person who is seeing a huge jump in average new daily followers (and unfollowers)?
