A new review article from the @WellingtonUBC lab suggests that inhibiting the CETP protein, which influences the LDL:HDL cholesterol ratio, can reduce cardiovascular risk and also potentially lower the risk of vascular contributions to cognitive impairment and dementia.
Researchers in UBC’s Neurology Fluid Biomarker Network and in the @WellingtonUBC Lab published two papers that are focused on creating reference intervals for blood-based neurology biomarkers. Learn more about their research and goals for the network here: shorturl.at/himQ4
