Ukrainian surgeons and nurses have been training alongside UK military surgical teams in life-saving combat surgical techniques.
Over the past year more than 50 πΊπ¦ frontline healthcare professionals have been on @DMS_MilMed & @DMS_RCDM courses in the UK.

It was great to be back at Royal Centre for Defence Medicine (RCDM) at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham recently, after being away for so long. The last time I was there, I was bringing military personnel back from Afghanistan.
The RCDM is the centre for excellence across the whole of the UK, providing medical support and specialist care for members of the armed forces. The service there is of the highest possible standard.
Thank you to Colonel Vicky Moorhouse and Colonel Mark Ballard for their invitation and for the fantastic visit. And a heartfelt thank you to all the NHS staff working and living in the Selly Oak constituency and wider Birmingham for all that you do.
