Today is my final day as the 🇬🇧 Ambassador in Tirana. I have had 5 amazing years. It has been an honour&privilege to serve my country in such a beautiful place with such welcoming people! My successor @AlastairKS is about to start a truly fabulous job.I know he will be a success!

Justice Ministers @CPhilpOfficial & @GjonajEtilda signed today a Prisoner Transfer Agreement in London, ensuring effective prisoner transfers between 🇬🇧&🇦🇱.
The 🇬🇧 has a long history of working with 🇦🇱 & will continue to fully support the AL justice system & justice institutions.

Home Secretary, RT Hon @pritipatel visited #Tirana and signed alongside Minister of Interior @bledicuci a new Readmission Agreement that will strengthen the existing arrangements the 🇬🇧 has in regards to the readmission of Albanian nationals who have no right to be in the UK.
