In the ACNA, closed-door proceedings are often cited to justify further actions.
The difficulty is that we, the public, aren't shown how the sausage is made.
Could Archbishop Wood cite an exoneration—expected, per Bp Ashey—as pretext for legal action against his complainants?
Who are you, sir? Enough hiding in anonymity. The answer, of course, is "it depends." Was the complaint found to be legitimate? In the case you appear to be referring to - no, it wasn't.

One of the things I am considering touching upon is how the ACNA's compromise is a mockery to all the martyrs who died for their beliefs. Women refused to marry pagans and were killed for it, yet our bishops (claiming to continue the catholic faith) would rather compromise.
