Love that!
After Germany’s 7–1 win over Curaçao, something even more beautiful happened. While everyone else celebrated, players from both teams formed a small circle together, put their arms around each other, and prayed. Germany’s Felix Nmecha later explained: “On the pitch we’re opponents. After the game, we’re all Christians and brothers. We simply prayed together because we’re grateful.” In a world constantly trying to divide people, moments like this remind us what really matters. ❤️

Love this! Jay Wright is the man.
Jay Wright shares the advice he gives to young athletes. "Run your own race. Be the best that you can be every day and don't compare yourself to someone ahead of you or even someone behind you." Your goal is to stay humble and hungry every day. • Ego is the enemy. • Comparison kills progress. You control two things every single day: your effort and your attitude. He poses 2 questions that you should ask yourself at the end of every day. 1. Did I give my best effort? 2. Did I have a great attitude? f you didn't, be honest. Then wake up and control what you can. Best effort. Best attitude. Complete Ownership. (🎥 Tipping the Scales Podcast)

Crazy but true: Stephon Castle is the YOUNGEST player in NBA history to record 400 points, 100 rebounds, and 100 assists in a single postseason 🤯

We celebrated the life of my good friend and client Barret Robbins yesterday. He was remembered by family, friends & teammates as a great man with a terrible disease. Everyone remembered how kind, smart & passionate he was. It was good to spend time with his ex-wife, kids & my friend @Andrea_Kremer who was an amazing friend to Barret throughout the years! Many thanks to the @Raiders who were amazing in their support of the service and the family! RIP Big B!

Hearing a lot of complaints from my fellow @spurs fans. Please stop. We weren’t perfect & we had some mistakes from players & coaches. Mistakes suck when they cost you games & were avoidable but let’s be good fans! We can learn from the mistakes & be better for it. See you next year! #GoSpursGo @NBA #2026NBAFinals
A Finals run. A franchise cornerstone. A bright future. San Antonio is in good hands 🙌

This is actually crazy that the fans are allowed to be that close!
Should the @nba and @OfficialNBARefs review this incident where Karl Anthony Towns asks Knicks fans to crowd Dylan Harper as he attempts to inbound the ball on the final play of Game 5? 👀 NBA rules explicitly state that fans are strictly prohibited from entering the playing area or intentionally interfering with players, whether the player is inbounds or out of bounds. Furthermore, rules state that fans must remain within the physical limits of their own seats. In an instance like this, Arena security staff is required to back the front row up, and offenders should be ejected. The second video in the tweet below also shows how egregious this violation was. Meanwhile @BexarCoSheriff in San Antonio announced today that they are beefing up security for Saturday's game given that there will be thousands of Knicks fans for Game 5. #PorVida

😂😂😂 I heard they discovered Buc-ee’s too.
I love Americans. We were about to walk an hour to the stadium in the rain to save on an Uber, and the receptionist at the hotel we were parked in front of decided to drive us there.🙏

I wonder who at The White House might be able to make this happen? This man has earned it, and what a GREAT thing he's doing for people in need around America! This is what "Love Thy Neighbor" is all about🇺🇸
Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration. More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸

First, I am a huge Spurs fan. I love a good rivalry! One where both teams dislike each other, like Texas-OU or Ohio St-Michigan. Rivalries are supposed to be that way. After the game they are professional and leave the battles of the court on the court. But you always want to beat your rival. I agree that failure is a part of success. If we are to be successful we should learn more from a small failure than some great success. Thanks for sharing @mikebeckhamsm.
I immensely enjoyed watching the Oklahoma City Thunder win the NBA Championship last year. But, I learned more by watching them lose this year. For the last two years the Oklahoma City Thunder have been the best team in the NBA. That ended on Saturday night when they lost to San Antonio in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals. I’ve decided the reason we need sports is because they teach us about success and failure. Every week we intentionally pit teams against each other in a zero sum game. One side will win and one will lose. We do this because we want to be a part of success. But we also want to learn how to fail from those we admire. We want to experience failure as a part of a community that is disappointed together. Even the most successful teams have to go through periods of failure and disappointment. The same is true of us as individuals. I do a lot of public speaking and I have come to loathe the part where I am introduced. I get it, the point is to communicate credibility so that people will actually listen to me when I speak. But when I hear my bio it isn't the full story. It is just the highlights. It is a way of telling my story that sounds like an unbroken string of success. The people who know me best know the deeper truth. For every success I’ve experienced, I can tell several stories about the setbacks that preceded it. Simple Modern has been more successful than I could have dreamed. But the startup I helped build in the years before founding Simple Modern was a failure that lost millions of dollars. Those kinds of stories don’t show up in newspaper articles. They should because they are essential. Success is like a cake and you cannot bake without the ingredients of failure, difficulty and hardship. Without these challenges, It is impossible to develop the skill and perseverance needed to achieve anything worthwhile. The Thunder failed to reach their goal this year, but as I have listened to their reactions following game 7 I have heard individuals who are: Owning the failure Avoiding excuses Taking personal responsibility Choosing to trust their teammates Looking for ways to grow and improve In my estimation, someone is a “winner” based on their mindset and not the scoreboard. Winners eventually win on the scoreboard because they have a mindset that makes it inevitable. I’ve been fortunate to have a front-row seat, both literally and figuratively, to the Thunder’s ascension. I’ve learned that the foundation of their success was built when they weren't winning basketball games. Because the foundation is their mindset and culture. Over the last two years they’ve experienced more success than a fan like me could reasonably hope for. But since their season ended, I realized something surprising. I appreciate the team in defeat even more than I have in victory. They have shown me, and many other people in this community, how winners approach failure.

Good teams draft well, develop well and invest in the relationships!
2019… Spurs draft Keldon with Pick 29 2020… Spurs draft Vassell with Pick 11 2023… Spurs draft Wemby with Pick 1 2024… Spurs draft Castle with Pick 4 2025… Spurs draft Harper with Pick 2 2025… Spurs draft CBryant with Pick 14 This is absolutely insane.
