A lot of people upgrade phones, swap SIMs, change emails, then forget one thing: their old contacts are still attached to accounts somewhere.
That “small” leftover detail can become the easiest way for someone to try a reset.
Do a quick monthly cleanup:
- check recovery phone email on your key accounts (banking, socials, email)
- remove what you no longer use
- turn on 2-step verification
