It is National Coach Day!
Tag the coaches you have positively impacted your life as a coach or player.
Time to share some love!
For me: Bertrand founder of @actiontypes has significantly influenced my philosophies and know-how of coaching and human dynamics.
I am proud to say I won the "Member of the year award 2023" of our esports association for all the efforts during the year to elevate esports in The Netherlands.
Thank you for the award, did not expect this <3
Let's make esports big together!
#award#samensterker
4 things to prepare yourself as a coach for next season
1. Schedule "off-time"
2. Find education to elevate your coaching skills, and structure that in your agenda as well
3. Aim to connect with 1 new connection every week to share experiences
4. Reflect on your coaching systems
"success usually comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it" - Henry David Thoreau
Keep building your legacy coach, keep improving, every single day. Then success will follow.
The biggest issue for most coaches is finding a solid structure for their coaching sessions, a framework.
Check out the webinar that I did about how to structure your coaching like a pro. Step by step. Super practical.
Use it or lose it, coach!

When I create courses, templates, and everything, I follow "Simplexity" combination of simple and complex. Meaning:
It is simple to implement, with complexity behind it if you want to understand how it works.
Producing good results from the start, and great when mastered.
The biggest challenge I faced while creating my coaching systems and templates etc. is to make it PRACTICAL and IMPACTFUL for any level of coach, whether that is a coach in their first year or a professional coach with 10 years pro experience.
Here's how I learned what I know about esports coaching.
1. Experience coaching first
2. Run into a lot of problems
3. Find solutions to problems in different areas (trad sports, internet, books, courses)
4. Apply learnings
5. Make things your own based on learnings
6. Repeat
How to learn to start giving good compliments?
You want to start your compliment with the words
YOU HAVE
This forces you to focus on the effort of the player instead of the result.
"You have checked all cooldowns/utility used, which made you able to make this great play."
"All you need to do is put one foot in front of the other"
- Martina Navratilova
For if you feel overwhelmed and feel slowed down.
It is only about your next step, move and action.
The reason you aren't seeing progress when it comes to esports coaching and career growth is that you keep doing the same thing and expect different results.
Educate yourself and invest in yourself. Get out of your comfort zone. Absorb knowledge. Experience alone is not enough.
Frequently, coaches message me how they are progressing in their careers, going from $0 pay coaching amateur to landing their first paid coaching gigs on teams because of @Next_L_Esports content they have consumed. The best part is that it all is within 1 to 6 months.
I love the content of @RayDalio, which has been a huge inspiration for me on how to think.
He is a man of Principles, a book, and an approach I admire.
This way of thinking helped me tremendously in designing systems and to find more success in my career in esports and life.
