Today between the hours of 10:00 - 14:00 the crew of Newtown Fire Station will be sponges at the ready awaiting your dirty vehicles.
We will be collecting donations for the Fire Fighters Charity for all the important work they continue to do.

Last night was CM Leach’s last drill night with us and his final day will be the 28th March, 36yrs after joining. The current longest serving member at Newtown. CM Leach has attended numerous incidents not only in our area but far and wide across the UK. 1/2

Walking home after a night out? Walking near the water? You're more likely to fall into the water when under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
Nearly 20% more people who drowned fell in when alcohol/drugs was cited compared to non-alcohol/drug related drownings. #DontDrinkandDrown
