YXE Top Lawyer says “…we do monitor it and we have specified that type of construction in areas where we thought vibration would be important to avoid.” Which YXE property owners get the benefit of low impact and which get risk of high impact construction practices for ADUs?

One of the reasons I bought our new 2026 Subaru Outback was because the oil filter was accessible. The salesman highlighted this design feature because they understood that owners are seeking to own this vehicle for decades. Good job @SubaruCanada

Not just “traditional” terrorists! We have environmental terrorists, economic terrorists, politically-correct terrorists. Many of these other terrorists cause harm and seek shelter under the law which protects them and often confuses them with being victims.
Replying to @gghamari
A sane strong voice removed by a feckless leader. Good for you Goldie for speaking up. We are surrounded by terrorists. Canadians wake up.

Walking the dog along Clarence Avenue and 15th Street in Saskatoon in Varsity View. Wow! No safety fence here! Seems that safety rules are optional. Remind kids not to play on this barrier free construction site.

I worry that certain doctors would err on the side of caution too many times in an effort to fulfill their own personal agenda of living in a gun free utopia.

Which sounds better? "50% of all crime guns come from Canada. " "7% of all crime guns can be traced to Canada." Both numbers are true. Only 14% of guns seized are able to be traced. And half of that number ( 50%) is 7%. Why is @ctv spreading misinformation?
Most crime guns traced by RCMP came from within Canada, internal reports say ctvnews.ca/canada/article/mo…

Another day, another scam!
This is the moment a customer busted two @Shell workers running the screw scam to charge gas to other customers. He told them straight: take the screws out or I’m ruining your entire company. I’m so sick of people coming to America just to scam hard-working citizens. Deport every single one running these street-level cons.

… lol guns so “dangerous” you’re forced to keep them for 7.5 years. Pffft. This farce has gone on long enough. Scrap the ban and invest the billion in real public safety instead. 🇨🇦
The amnesty extension for thousands of prohibited assault-style firearms announced today by minister @gary_srp undermines public safety and the rule of law. See our news release: polysesouvient.ca/Documents_…

AMNESTY EXTENDED…again!
They left out the most important part. Amnesty extended 90 days past the SCC decision!!! Woohooo we did it!!! Hearing won’t be until at least Jan-April, with a decision long after that.

These 6-unit infills won’t be along University Drive, Sask Crescent or Temperance Street. It’s disingenuous to say it will be across the entire city. Developers will take advantage of the changes to build larger single family homes by changing the sidewalk square footage bylaw.
6 units on corner lots will start as discretionary but eventually become permitted - hopefully citywide, not just in transit corridors. cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatoon…

NEW REAL ESTATE LISTING IN VARSITY VIEW! The good news is that it’s inconceivable that any real estate transaction for these condos won’t include disclosure related to the parkade ramp that’s too steep for vehicles and the regular parkade flooding. Tear it down to fix it!

60,000 marched and were peaceful. Police out on mass. The only ones who were NOT peaceful were those supporting Palestine. Imagine that. Good to see the police move in swiftly and arrest them. Words of wisdom!
Random thought: I should build a "did not talk to the cops discount" into my bills. Like, "Okay, you didn't talk to the cops? That's $1000 off trial fees". Because it does make it less work, and also, I could explain that when talking to clients.

This British judge is an example of what is possible. In criminal court judges in England and Wales who hear serious sexual offences and rape cases must be "ticketed" and undergo mandatory continuing education on sexual offences and rape myths every three years. This is why it matters.
When I fought for 5 years to make it mandatory for judges in Canada to take sexual assault law training, this is what I hoped for. All rape cases should be presided over w this level of awareness. An inspiring judge. Wish they were all like this.

Just got home last night otherwise I’d have been at the local range with my family. A great event to promote safe firearm practices and enjoy a few burgers!
They created this day in response to National Range Day and intentionally put it the day before. Just more proof they try and blame legal owners for the crime they unleashed and they’re petty children. They aren’t serious about public safety 🇨🇦

Phones are expensive! I buy @OtterBox to protect them. Very well made and a fantastic warranty when the case finally falls apart from tough use. Small fee and some paperwork for a new case! So pleased right now! Feels like a new phone!
