The late Brad Delp was born June 12, 1951 in Peabody, MA. The lead singer for the band Boston, they were known for megahits More Than a Feeling and Amanda. Delp had one of the most powerful voices in rock. He committed suicide in 2007.

Birthday shoutout to former Boston #RedSox infielder Brock Holt, born June 11, 1988. Brock-Star was a fan favorite in Boston and made the All-Star team in 2015. On October 8, 2018 while with the Sox, he became the 1st player in MLB history to hit for the cycle in the postseason.
June 10, 1880, Charley Jones of the Boston Red Caps becomes the first big leaguer to hit two homers in the same inning. Both home runs came off Buffalo Bisons' pitcher Tom Poorman in the eighth inning of a 19–3 rout. #OTD
