A gift from the Class of 1873, the MSU Rock is a beloved campus monument that has spanned generations of students. Painting it is a Spartan tradition. When a small piece of its special paint layers fell off recently, we preserved it and took photos to share.

Needed to do 96 wp platereader anaerobic cultures but the machine is not built for that. Then I thought: no headspace = no oxygen right? So I filled the wells to the brim and stuck PCR seal over it and BOOM it worked! Data below 👇
