"Running is a fabulous way to get to work and get ready for work. It doesn’t have to be quick, particularly when it’s this warm, it’s the same distance whatever the speed!" - David Evans (@DXE1), Consultant Neonatologist, @NorthBristolNHS 🏃♂️

WE DID IT!! 🎉🎉🎉 We are thrilled that the Neonatal Care (Leave and Pay) Bill reached royal assent today! Around 60,000 parents annually will benefit from up to 12 weeks’ leave and pay when their babies are born needing neonatal care.
Everyone always advertises jobs as “exciting” or “fantastic” or any other superlative. However, this one really IS exciting!
I believe a U.K. first? A #physicianassociate role in #neonatology
Great to see the MDT growing and expanding within NICUs
