Update on my crypto journey: I have been following the @bonkfun hackathon from the beginning. I’m a bit surprised to see that no1 & no2 got the same amount. And that it took. #Bonkfun so long to announce a winner. Also in the comments the basically hate. Even though the coin at number 1 won fair and square. I try to stick to the facts instead of the speculations towards my followers. Point of complaints/drama: 1) One coin went down when the winners were announced. No, all 3 coins went down on the moment of the announcement. (See screenshots) 2) Winning coin isn’t tech!! The coin that won isn’t tech. Correct. The hackathon rules never said they should be. Update of my journey: Since crypto especially the memecoin world is already full of smoke and mirrors I’m posting about my day to day experiences to create a sense of how things go. For the new people. Like the thread on common scams. Or on how communities work or differ. A column of sorts! Today’s events: I’ve been supporting $BEST since day 2 or 3 after launch. Creating memes. Boosting visibility. Engaging with the community.
Never caused problems. Just showed up consistently every day. To be totally transparent in this story: 
I left the official chat once a few days ago. Why? Because I saw how people (especially newcomers or anyone a bit unsure) were mocked instead of welcomed or helped. There was no real appreciation for those actually contributing.
It didn’t sit right with me. So I stepped away for a bit. I should’ve known better especially after what happened next. When I returned and continued contributing, I got kicked from the group.
No warning. No message. Just removed. Multiple times. I genuinely thought it was a glitch on X. Why wouldn’t I? Because I got added back in afterwards… only to be kicked out again. Meanwhile, others from the community were DM’ing me: “Why do you keep leaving?” “Are you okay?” I told them: “I think it’s just an X bug.” But it turned out it wasn’t. They actually made fun of me for believing it was a glitch. A few quotes from the screenshots I got send to me by the people that are genuine and do care. “Prob one of her glitch moments again lmao”
“Leave her out for a bit”
“She’s too much”
“Time out 😂”
“She spreads them everywhere hahaha” They mocked me.
Pinned things on me.
And tried to turn my genuine effort into a punchline. Let me be clear on one thing what this is about. I made a few memes upon request from the community. As also is stated in the screenshots I received. Someone took it upon herself for requesting the memes from the group. I like to make memes so I jumped straight on it. Apparently they are “creepy”. I added one at the bottom. And a no go. Not sure were that was communicated or pin 📌 posted.. She didn’t know either. People post al sorts of stuff, hell even the official account is posting all kinds of things. Even then instead of acknowledging that fact it was a request someone took responsibility for they chose to continue the mocking behind my back. I will not have that and I will not have to accept that. Also getting to many notifications was apparently an issue. If you post your x messages to raid them you get notifications from people… that’s how raids work. And yes I contributed in those, so yes you get a notification.. for the group chats X wont let you silence them everyone is having that issue. If I had crossed any line, I’d say so and be the first to admit to that.
But this wasn’t about that, this was about people in charge deciding to act like this. And instead of talking or reaching out, they chose to kick me while I was already down and laugh. And just to be clear:
This isn’t about the good people in the community. There are plenty of kind, supportive members who act in good faith and I see you.
 This was done by the people carrying the project. The ones who should set the tone be the example. And failed to do so with integrity. The coin? Meh still solid.
But don’t pretend to be a community based coin when you clearly aren’t. I won’t waste another second of my time ona project that treats people like this. It’s time to put that into a project with people that appreciate and do help each other. *I have the screenshots backing this but I chose to be the wiser person here and not post them. The experience narrative speaks for itself!
