This hurts.
Tomas "Tompa" Lindberg, singer/dying soul screamer of legendary methodic death metal band, At The Gates, died today from cancer.
His with was a huge influence on me and God only knows how many others. He will be missed.
Rest in heavenly peace.

I'll remember the two times I saw him forever. Especially this show: 3/28/2015, Decibel Tour, when he put the painting I made for the band on Adrian's drums, making it part of the show. We even first-bummed in spirit at 1:10.

He didn't drop out after his equally disastrous speech at the NATO "big boy" conference.
He dropped out after Thomas Crooks missed.

On this day(ish), Jesus woke up in His tomb and said: "GOD, that sucked! Good thing I don't have to do that again!"
Earnestly, Christ taking upon our wickedness and defeating death made it possible for us to defeat, too. We would be damned to The Void without Him.
