In 2026, Hardy has made seven Korn Ferry Tour starts with zero top-25s, and six PGA TOUR starts with just one made cut. He's outside the top 130 on each circuit's season-long standings, fighting to secure a playing schedule for 2027.
Today, he earned his spot in a major championship.
He even leaned on advice from a former U.S. Open champion, Lucas Glover.

Source: Next season's game between UConn and Illinois will be played on Friday, December 4th at the United Center in Chicago.
The two teams played last season at MSG prior to meeting again in the Final Four.

Illinois State is believed to be the first school ever to qualify for the Semifinals in a D1 postseason tournament in Football, MBB, and WBB in the same academic year. They lost an overtime heartbreaker in the FCS Final, and are headed to the NIT Semifinal and WNIT Fab Four.
