He woke up that morning and went about his day as usual, preparing for a game of basketball. He left his house with one plan in mind- to play ball. On his way, he passed by a group of people inviting others to Islam. He stopped to listen. One conversation led to another, questions turned into discussions, and before long, he embraced Islam. He woke up intending to do one thing, yet Allah guided him to something far greater. You plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the Best of Planners.

Algerian, not “Najdi” defence of Muhammed Ibn Abdul Wahhab Al-Ibrāhīmī, the leading Algerian Islamic scholar; the Wahhābīs are not your enemy. They are your brothers doing the same job from a different location with different tools. The Works of Imām Muḥammad al-Bashīr al-Ibrāhīmī Volume One - Page 124 (1929–1940) “O people - truth is bigger than any individual person, and the Sunnah does not carry the name of whoever brings it back to life. The Wahhābīs are Muslims just like you. They share your religion. In fact they outdo you in practising Islam’s rituals and staying within its boundaries. They outdo every Muslim group alive today all at once. Their only ‘crime’ is that they refuse to accept religious innovation. So what exactly is wrong with them, if they rejected what Allāh’s Book and His Prophet’s Sunnah rejected, and used every tool they had to remove wrong practices? If we and they agree on the basics of the religion, things every Muslim knows without question - and we both agree that wrong must be changed, and that wrong is wrong no matter which country you are in - then why do some people look down on them? They are our equals. In fact they are better than us in many ways. Yes, there are differences between us in certain matters. We are Mālikī and they are Ḥanbalī. We are in Algeria and they are in Arabia. But so what? We work for reform using our pens. They work using their feet on the ground. They demolish shrines with pickaxes. We work to build the reform movement with effort and organisation.”

Moroccan, not “Najdi” defence of Muhammed Ibn Abdul Wahhab Imam Muḥammad Taqī al-Dīn al-Hilālī said, may Allāh have mercy on him - the Moroccan scholar, ḥadīth specialist, and linguist - one of the translators of the Noble Qurʾān into English. “…The later figures among the men of the Ottoman state were eager to distort the reputation of Shaykh Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb and to lie about him. They gave his followers the false impression that he had come with a new religion, that he belittled the status of the Noble Prophet ﷺ, and that he declared Muslims to be disbelievers and other such fabrications. It has since become clear to most people that those claims were false, and they came to know with certainty that Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb was one of the great reformers whom Allāh opened up through their daʿwah the eyes of the blind and the ears of the deaf. He revived action according to the Book of Allāh and the Sunnah of His Messenger in the Arabian Peninsula, after it had almost disappeared entirely. And to this day he continues to be cited. Some Westerners still follow his trail, mentioning him and this only harms them. For if they were Muslims, mentioning him would add to their good deeds. And if they were polytheists, then Allāh will only increase them in punishment.”

Iranian, not "Najdi' defence of Muhammed ibn Abdul Wahhb. Another notable defender of his movement was the Iranian scholar ʿImrān b. ʿAlī al-Linjī, a 13th-century AH Shāfiʿī-Atharī scholar from Bandar Lengeh, Iran. He is known for his famous poem beginning: إن كان تابع أحمد متوهباً فأنا المقر بأنني وهابي “If following Aḥmad makes one a Wahhabi, then I openly affirm that I am a Wahhabi.” In the poem, al-Linjī argues that the label “Wahhabi” was merely a name applied to those who adhered to the teachings of the Prophet Muḥammad and the creed of the early Muslims. His verses constitute an explicit defense of Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb and demonstrate that support for the Wahhabi reform movement was not limited to Najd, but also found advocates among scholars beyond Arabia, including in Iran.

A Yemeni, not 'Najdi' defence of Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab Al-Shawkānī was a Yemeni jurist and hadith master whose works on fiqh and uṣūl remain indispensable references across the Islamic world. He says: ...His father ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz was the commander of its armies, and Muḥammad was a scholar and shaykh of the village - and it was to him that the Shaykh, the scholar Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb, the caller to tawḥīd, came. He refuted the grave-worshippers, and ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz supported him and rose to his aid, and he continued to fight those who opposed him. Those lands had been overcome by matters of jāhiliyya, and Islām had become a stranger within them....

Raised, Not Crucified: The Night Allah Protected ʿĪsā ibn Maryam The enemies of ʿĪsā ibn Maryam conspired to have him seized, condemned, and executed. They reported him to one of the ruling disbelieving kings of that era, whose name, according to al-Ḥasan al-Baṣrī (d. 110 AH / 728 CE) and Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq (d. 150 AH / 767 CE), was Dāwūd ibn Yūrā. Upon his order, soldiers were dispatched to arrest ʿĪsā. They surrounded a house in Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem) where he had taken shelter, closing in on the evening of Friday as the Sabbath night began. With him inside the house were twelve men – his disciples, the Ḥawāriyyūn..... dusunnah.com/article/raised-…
