Tax Elon immediately. Do you know what Karen Bass could do with that money? She could fix 14 potholes, buy 900 million free needles, build 6 temporary drug tents at $47 million each, and still have enough left over to buy every illegal ballot necessary to protect democracy forever. Finally, civilization would be safe from the greatest threat in human history: straight homophobic transphobic, sexist, racist, white guys with jobs.

Trump really did disappoint on the big stuff. No Epstein files. DOGE got taken behind the barn. “No new wars” now has a terms and conditions page. The Bitcoin reserve became a motivational poster. But World Liberty Financial is worth a bajillion dollars, so at least one American family escaped the inflation crisis.

Elon Musk now controls two of the most valuable companies on earth. Tesla holds Bitcoin. SpaceX holds Bitcoin. But please, tell me more about how Bitcoin is worthless from your 2009 Dell laptop while the most successful capital allocator alive quietly parks billions in it. Must be nice being smarter than Elon.

In nature, monkeys also throw their own feces at each other, so maybe we shouldn’t build the entire economic system around their political philosophy.
in nature if a monkey hoarded 1 trillion bananas the other monkeys would beat that monkey to death and take his bananas

Why does this grown up not know what entitled means?
Why does Elon feel likes he’s entitled to $1,000,000,000,000 ???

Just stop wasting money and then you wouldn’t have to worry about taking more money from people who create jobs
Brad, a 5% tax on Elon's trillion net worth would literally pay for free college and trade school for every American. And with the market's growth, he still would be worth over a trillion dollars! You don't think that's worth it?
Community note
5% of $1.2T is $60b. 8m students in BA/BS programs on average pay over $20k/yr, or ~$160b/yr for BA/BS degrees only. That tax could not cover even half of only US bachelor degree costs for just 1 year, excluding grad, ass., or trade degrees totaling another ~10m students. nces.ed.gov/programs/coe/i… bestcolleges.com/research/colle…

Finally explains why Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConnell always look like they’re about to introduce Sam Cassell as the ambassador from their home planet.
The Pentagon has released a new batch of UFO files, including videos, images and audio recordings.

Anyone can get fit. You don’t need to be genetically gifted. You don’t need an inflexible diet. You don’t need to work out two hours a day. You need a goal, a plan, and the willingness to do the work. BW PT is offering private personalized fitness programs built around your goal, your starting point, and your availability. Reach out when you’re ready to bring out the most badass version of yourself. (BTW-if you do the work and you don’t hit your goal, you don’t pay)

Right idea, but I have a better idea. How about you and Elon get together and fix HealthCare and we take it away from the government who obviously can’t do sheeet right
The reason anyone gets insanely rich is almost always because of the stock market. It certainly how @elonmusk did. And the reason they get rich from the stock market, is because 150m Americans decided they wanted to own shares of stocks directly, or through their retirement plans, or through other approaches as a way of building their net worth and trying to create a better life for themselves. One Hundred Fifty Million Americans. About 60% of adults. Effectively believing that @elonmusk and many billionaires could make them wealthier and help them achieve a better life. If you want @elonmusk , and most billionaires to no longer be that rich, convince those 150m to sell their stocks, funds, ETFs whatever. Of course you would wipe out the net-worth of most of those people, and everyone else’s savings, as the markets crashed and brought down the economy and created the worst depression we have ever seen. Alternatively There are ways to improve healthcare access and eventually make it available to all. To start - If you want @elonmusk and all billionaires to improve healthcare for everyone , ask them to stop doing business with the enormous healthcare conglomerates and to work directly with transparently priced care providers. It’s the behemoth HC conglomerates that make HC so bad for so many. (Check my timeline for more detail) Removing them would push the cost of healthcare down for everyone. Their corporate decisions impact our healthcare cost and availability. Of course if they do that, not only would our HC costs go down , and the quality of care for their employees and the entire country go up But They would see their corporate cash flow increase dramatically and we would have more millionaires, billionaires and maybe even another trillionaire when that cash flow moved from the big health care conglomerates to their bottom line, so would the net worth of the 150 million American adults that own public stocks Capitalism is better than socialism because 150m Americans can influence exactly what happens in this country.

If Elon Musk becoming a trillionaire makes you angry, wait until you hear about the organization that collected over $100 trillion from Americans, borrowed another $40 trillion, can’t pass an audit, and still acts like it’s broke. One guy built rockets. The other guys built debt. Guess which one everyone is mad at.

I’m 53 and I think I’ve finally mapped the lifecycle of the female human: Be child. Beat up boys. Become hot. Catch boy. Master psychological warfare. Marry boy. Have babies with boy. Gain baby weight. Raise babies. Become hot again. Optional DLC: Divorce boy. Become ridiculously hot again. Start dating a guy who was playing Minecraft with your son three years ago.

Imagine if Elon Musk did something to benefit others with his trillion.

At some point you have to appreciate the confidence. “Bitcoin is a scam.” — Guy with a net worth of $37.42 directed at people who collectively built and manage tens of trillions of dollars. That’s a level of self-belief I can only aspire to.

Every time I pass that Barnes & Noble on Hawthorne I wonder how they’re paying the rent. The average LA resident reads about three paragraphs a year, and two of them are on Instagram.

A trillionaire could give every American $1 billion and create millions of billionaires. A PhD in economics just accidentally invented 339 million trillionaires and collapsed mathematics itself. At this point I’m less concerned about inflation and more concerned about whatever happened during her dissertation defense.

Congrats to Elon Musk, the world’s first trillionaire. I’m rooting for him. In fact, I’m rooting so hard that I’ve already started planning for my own trillionaire problems. All I need is MSTR at $200,000,000 per share. I got your back @elonmusk Trillionaires have to stick together.
