Today is Children of Incarcerated Parents Day in ND. The DOCR has a group of dedicated individuals who work hard to ensure there is support for these children. We want to use this day as a reminder for North Dakotans to help reduce risk factors for both children and parents.

In North Dakota, Native and Black people are 4x more likely to be on parole, probation, or in prison than white people. It doesn't have to be this way. A restorative approach focused on healing, safety, & support can better meet the needs of the community. inforum.com/news/government-…

A few books are now en route to leaders in North Dakota prisons... once they review them, we hope to get #DaddysTimeOut into visitation rooms for fathers to read to their children (who can then take them home)!

#DaddysTimeOut has now been printed! Deliveries to our 139 backers are now underway, and the book will soon be available for sale on Amazon and at DaddysTimeOut.com!
