streaming is a competition by nature, you compete with many vtubers out there doing the same thing as you do, i don't think it has to be with you being not good. its just a small fish in a big ocean thing, don't let the down numbers harm you hard~
I'm discouraged that I've been vtubing for close to 5 years now, and I still haven't reached 2k subscribers, or become a youtube partner. I struggle to get engagement/chat comments during streams. I see others talk about similar subjects (VNs) and get much more traction.
