Corner house at ROSMEEN PARK & SUMMERHILL ROAD is a rebuild after the bombing. Sandycove train station was the second location.

On this day 1940 German bombers attacked Dún Laoghaire, just missing the ferry Hibernia 2 German bombs hit Glasthule/Sandycove area, injuring 3 people 🇮🇪MV Innisfallen, survived an air raid in Liverpool that night. But the next day hit a German mine on route to Dublin & sank
