Good morning Familia. 🌅 God takes us into His family, He establishes us as His children and heirs. Closeness, affection, and generosity are at the heart of the relationship with Him. To be loved and cared for by God the Father is the greatest love of all! Wether we can say I have an earthly father who is wonderful, or my father disappointed me, or I never knew my father on earth; the truth is that all of us have a positive ideal of fatherhood by which we he judge our own and others’ fathers. God has not left us to guess what His fatherhood amounts to by drawing analogies from human fatherhood. He revealed the full meaning of His relationship through Jesus. The thought of our Maker becoming our perfect parent- faithful in love and care, generous and thoughtful, interested in all we do, respecting our individuality, skillful in training us, wise in guidance, always available, helping to find ourselves in maturity, integrity and uprightness- is a thought that can have meaning for all believers. To those who are Christ’s, the holy God is a loving Father; we belong to His Family; we may approach Him without fear and always be sure of His Fatherly concern and care. This is our Family covenant, as believers we are His Children, His own sons and daughters, no matter what family dynamic we were raised in on earth. The relationship is always there for you, Amen! ❤️🙏😊👊🏼

Good morning Familia. 🌅 All of us struggle with the weakness of the flesh and sin. For most people, tribulation or affliction breaks the spirit, leads them to despair, and causes them to abandon all hope. Not so for the Christians, because even if we lose everything the world can give us, we still possess our justification. That means we are reconciled to God, and we can rejoice no matter what life brings us. Paul is telling us that we will have inevitable troubles because of our relationship with God, however we will persevere with glory because of what those pressures produce. An easy life does nothing to produce character. Character is forged in the trials of pain. Character is built when we have no alternative but to persevere in affliction. The result of character is Hope (verse 4) and this is certain but not yet realized. Our divine decree is to share in the very glory of God, and that Hope will be realized because Christ Himself secures it! This is the gift that keeps on giving as God’s love for us is implanted in our hearts. His love fuels our hope, and implants evidence that we belong to Him- in that we love the One who first loved us. It’s a sobering lesson we all need to learn in life. If you put your TRUST into anything else but Christ, you are destined for disappointment. There are no accidents in life. Authentically joyful people are those who know where their Hope is- they have been through trials, they have been through affliction, they have been through extreme pressure and pain. They know all of that means nothing compared to the Crown of Glory that God has prepared for His people. It only makes us stronger. Amen! 💪🏼🙏👊🏼❤️😊
