When mom says “we’re leaving” and means it 🐯
Tiger moms are incredibly protective, and this is one of the ways they keep their cubs safe. Carrying them by the scruff is a natural behavior that helps mom move them gently and securely while they’re still small.

Our tiger cubs officially have names! 🐯 The votes are in and our female cub's name is Rina. Her name honors Rina PA, a ranger with the Sumatran Ranger Project. Her brother, Serasi, was named by our animal care team in tribute to a ranger from the same organization.

The herd just got a little taller and a lot cuter. 🦒 Say hello to our newest giraffe calf, born March 23 to mom Chrystal and dad Tebogo. This little girl weighed around 132 pounds and stood about 5 feet 9 inches at birth. She is the perfect mini-me of mom Chrystal.

Say hello to our newest Linné’s two-toed sloth baby. Born to mom Tommi and dad Riey on November 14, this tiny cutie made its debut right on habitat — and a group of visiting school kids were there to cheer it on with a Happy Birthday song! Talk about a warm welcome.
