Nobody scrolls past a claymation ad. Nobody. Your brain sees it and just… stops. Every time. Most brands are fighting for attention with the same polished product shots everyone else is running. Then a claymation drops and the whole feed stands still. Recent claymation video for a teeth whitening brand👇

This brand has 150 ads running. I joined a month ago. Every creative I made was AI animation. No studio. No actors. No big budget. The winning ad? Pixar-style animation. It’s now their top performer. Several others I made are picking up spend too. 150 ads deep and an AI animation just beat all of them. The format your competitors aren’t using is usually the one that wins.

Claymation ads on Meta are not a trend. They’re a takeover. You’re either early or you’re late. Check out recent video for a coffee brand👇

100 AI videos in a week. 0 of them converted. That’s what happens when you let automation make creative decisions it was never built to make. AI can’t feel when the energy drops in frame 3. It won’t catch that the pacing feels off for a cold audience. It doesn’t know your customer well enough to know what actually stops the scroll. I use AI in my workflow, you know. But my hands are still on the edit. That’s the gap most people miss. It’s not AI vs manual. Pure automation just removes the judgment that makes ads work. Volume is easy now. Anyone can pump 100 videos. The editor who’s sat through enough losing ads to know what winning feels like? That’s what you’re actually paying for.

I made a claymation ad just to see how far I could push the format. Brief to finished creative in under an hour. TV-quality standard. Runs on Meta, TikTok, anywhere. Not “good for social” quality. Actual broadcast-ready. Claymation ads are everywhere right now. 90% of them look like they were made in 20 minutes by someone who just discovered CapCut. This isn’t that. You can tell any story in this style: •product in action •customer transformation •problem and solution •brand origin •emotional storytelling The format is hot. The quality bar is embarrassingly low. Editors who actually do it right are going to eat.

Generating a full ad creative in 3 steps now. - build the character - lock the start frame - run consistent variations off it no actors. no shoot days. no budget blown on production. Here's one i put together recently:

this format is printing for DTC brands right now. here's how I build it: generate the AI character in Kling — consistent look, consistent feel across every video create the script around a specific angle — not generic product features, something specific. a pain point, a comparison, a moment the customer recognizes run the voiceover through ElevenLabs - same voice every time, builds familiarity across the creative library animate and sync in CapCut — remove background, drop in relevant broll, add music underneath done in under 2 hours. same character. same voice. infinite variations. that's the system.

This Ai animation ads are converting hard. It’s not about the style. It’s the storytelling that holds attention. Animation, cinematic, emotional, character-driven… all work. But only if the story keeps people watching till the end. That’s what’s driving performance right now.

Here's another skeleton animation ad I made. These are genuinely fun to make and the turnaround is stupid fast. People know it's AI but they don't care because the story hits close to home. If your brand isn't testing this format yet you're leaving money on the table.
