I am honored and excited to join UNC Lineberger and UNC health, to make an impact across the Triangle and state of NC, reducing the burden of cancer and advancing research and cancer treatment! Amazing team and strong legacy of directors Earp, Sharpless and Pagano.

I am incredibly sad to learn that my friend and colleague Dr. Ada Adimora, passed away yesterday. Ada was an amazing leader who's contributions to HIV/AIDS were many. In 2020 she delivered the Kass lecture at IDWeek. idweek.org/videos/2020-kass-… May she rest in peace.
