Today is the day when my second book launch event for ‘A Magdalene Rose’ takes place in #Glenamaddy, (Ireland), the town made famous by the song “Four Coubtry Roads”. Be there at Jim Pete's Pub at 8.30pm, hear readings followed by Q&As, with music. Be great to see you there!

Really sorry to hear that James McCarthy @DubGAAOfficial has retired. Happy for him but as a Dublin supporter it’s a sad day. Imho along with Stephen Cluxton the best to don a GAA jersey ever. And with medals to prove it. I count myself fortunate to have seen James play

My daughter's Y3 teacher is the absolute GOAT. She single-handedly crocheted a mini-me of each kid in her class as an end of year gift. Approx. 8hrs per doll. Even the hairstyles and clothes are spot on. What a legend.

Sad to learn this … great actor imho …love film and always enjoyed his
With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away. I personally think one of the most important actors in the history of film. Never daunted by a role, good, bad or ugly. He loved what he did and did what he loved, and one can never ask for more than that. A life well lived.
