I started ALX SE in July 2023 as a cohort 18 student, faced my first big challenge with printf, and had my first deferment after the Shell project. Deferred again in April 2024 due to work, but continued as a cohort 21 student, and now, I’m officially a graduate. #Alx #ALXSE

It’s been a long time away from here. Over the past few months, I’ve been juggling work and the intense ALX Software Engineering program. Balancing it all meant I had to take a step back from posting.

I Just wrapped up my Python course on Coursera. Balancing it with my ALX Software Engineer program wasn't a walk in the park, but I persevered. A big shoutout to @solokanni for the constant motivation and support.

Today we drive into the world of classes and objects. Everything in Python is an object. Classes are the blueprints for creating objects, each with its own unique properties and behaviors making Python an object-oriented programming (OOP) language. 🚀💻 #ALX_SE

When handling files in Python: read(): Best for small files. Reads the entire content as a string. readline(): Ideal for large files, processes line by line. readlines(): Useful when a list of all lines is needed. Choose based on file size and processing needs📖

So, I am not sure if it was my hand or my head that typed README.me, but it was after running the checker for Task 0 and realizing it wasn't checking that I spotted my mistake. 🤦‍♂️

It often feels like a piece is missing from your daily routine, but sometimes taking a step back is necessary to review what you've learned so far.
#ALX_SE will leave you so stressed out everyday but the moment you have that one week break, you start to miss the stress.

I kicked off my backend developer course on Coursera a few months back, and the progress has been incredible. Just started diving into Python at ALX yesterday, and you might be wondering why now. Well, I deferred to Cohort 19. If you're also in C19, let's connect.
